Over the past few days, besides the furor and angst among the public of the Sodomy II, it seems absurd that the Prime Minister’s Najib Tun Razak’s special officer Nasir Safar can’t resist the temptation to put himself into the limelight and being seen as the champion of Ketuanan Melayu.
During a seminar titled ‘Rapat 1Malaysia’ in Malacca, he made a mockery out of his boss ‘1Malaysia’ policy and was reported called the Indians and Chinese in Malaysia “pendatang” (‘immigrants’) and allegedly said that Chinese women come to Malaysia to “sell their bodies”.
To those who do not know who is Nasir Safar besides his position as the special officer and close association to the PM, he is an Umno stalwart, having served as a Johor state assemblyman and division chief in the 1980s, and currently the deputy chief for the Tanjung Piai Umno Division.
Initially he was in defiance mood, but later apologized and resigned after some intervention from the high level, however, the damage done is irreversible and once again, the Chinese and Indian communities are being hurt.
Like what political analyst Azmi Sharom said, “If you can’t even convince the people closest to you, including your special officer, of your policies, then how do you expect to convince the rest of us?”
For now, many police reports have been lodged against him, we shall see if any action would be taken against him, although the federal CID director Mohd Bakri Zinin said the police are investigating Nasir under the Sedition Act over the alleged racist remarks.
Pig head incident, arson attacks on churches and surau, and now, racist remark from no other than Najib’s special officer?
So much of 1Malaysia.
Thank you PM, I’m now completely convinced by the Satu Malaysia. Rakyat Didahulukan. Pencapaian Diutamakan.
Keep up the good work.

This instability and downright social accusations has caused many of malaysian’s brain power to move overseas. last year alone there was close to 300,000 people who migrated. who, i think, are mostly white collared overseas educated people. so, props to the politicians for making malaysian a better place for all races.
