I love Malaysia!

For those who are wondering why this space is left without update for quite some times, just to inform you that I’m currently away in Europe for a few weeks.

I was totally disconnected to the internet and also, internet accessibility is so expensive here and even wifi access is tied to the network operators, that explains why I’m totally disconnected for the past few weeks.

To those who called to check out on me as I’m nowhere to be seen on all the messengers, I’m fine, no worry, but this trip is a bit tired though, fighting against the weather, sometimes below 0 Celcius.

My only entertainment is to watch the CNN update and it’s very disheartening to watch the Haiti earthquake update, in which as of now, the total casualty goes up to about 120,000, a record indeed. Do chip in any capacity you can, and I’m sure most of the companies that you’re working in do organise donation drive too, so, please help.

On another note, though I’ve been traveling for quite a bit since I came out to work, this is the first time I miss Malaysia so much. Here, it’s either pizza or crossant and the service attitude sucks like hell, I bet if European continues to behave poorly, Asia is set to take over the reign soon, no wonder Asia brands like Mandarin Oriental, The Penisular or even Shangri-La chain which are famous of impeccable service level are expanding operation in Europe to compete against the local brand.

If there is anyone that can be more anak Malaysia than me, I would be the one. I miss the food, I miss the weather, I miss the people, I miss everything about Malaysia, everything!

Argh, I hate Europe.

I love you Malaysia, I’m going home to see you soon!

  • Bro, I assume you’re in Italy now (because you mentioned pizza and pasta). I heard similar comments from my friends that went there last year. The people are generally unfriendly (my friends have reason to believe they don’t like asians, because they observed that americans are treated well), and they treat us badly whenever we go to their shops.

A friend wanted to enquire the price of a PS2 at a shop but the shop owner shouted “shop close! close! get out!”, and the funny thing is a few minutes later a white couple went inside and he welcome them. it’s crazy. They would purposely reply you in their language, even though they know you can only speak English and they can speak English. I guess it’s typical of old european mentality where they are xenophobic, especially towards asians.

  • Hi there!
    No wonder no updates!
Back for the CNY? Missed Malaysia lah!
    Cheers!

  • Sure you missed the sights and sound of Malaysia, but definitely not the stink left behind by shit left behind by the bigots!
