Just when you think that Malaysia has enough of Muhammad Muhammad Taib, the same predicament falls on the current Negeri Sembilan MB too.
It was a RM4 million worth of Australian dollars siphoned out by the former Selangor MB, but eventually acquitted after he claimed ignorance of Australian laws because he could not understand English.
Yes, I know that’s a joke, but that was many years back then.
Now, the new kid on the block Mohamad Hasan, who is surrounded by enemies even within his own camp, is currently under Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) probe for allegedly transferring funds amounting to RM10 million to London through a money changer Salamath Ali.
While it doesn’t matter who is heading the state and who is going to come in and replace him next, the moral of the story is that, if you think that it’s only the PR side which is caught with internal strife, look further and you’ll notice that BN is not any better though, especially the magnitude of RM10 million, good enough to feed you 10,000,000 packets of nasi lemak at RM1 each.
Now, hands off Tok Guru, better spend time train your gun on the RM10 million, whether it’s for the nasi lemak or one of the little mansion in London.
