Living an illusion

While former MCA vice-president Chua Jui Meng defected to PKR, The Malaysian Insider reported that Johor MB Abdul Ghani Othman remains very confident.

“Not much of impact to the political scene in Johor,” he said.

He said that as far as the opposition coalition in the Pakatan Rakyat was concerned, the people’s support appeared to have waned, right after the 12th general election.

“The support was fierce in the election and we thought Pakatan Rakyat would blossom in Johor. But when the election was over, the support seemed to have faded,” added Abdul Ghani.

He seems unperturbed.

He must be living in oblivious or rather, MCA deputy president Chua Soi Lek, who is also a strongman in Johor among the Chinese community doesn’t brief him well enough for him to understand the real situation on the ground.

But that’s not about it.

Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin suggesting that Chua quit MCA as he might have been influenced by the assumption that PKR could win the next general election, and subtly suggesting that it might be due to internal infighting in MCA.

Whatever it’s, BN totally deserves the brunt, as Chua is the most senior BN politician to have defected to the Opposition. The defection also serves as a boost to the once again re-united PR coalition following the death of political aide Teo Beng Hock, if the BN coalition led by Umno continue to live in their own fantasy.

Good night and good luck, BN.

By the way, I was just informed that there is one ugly running dog from MCA Lee Wei Keat who openly insulting Teo’s over his death in Astro AEC.

When I wake up tomorrow morning, as soon as I confirm the context, we’ll see what we can do with this insensitive and shameless chap.
