In response to a racially sounded article by the new Group Managing Editor of The New Straits Times Zainul Ariffin Isa who was trying extremely so hard to please his new political master, with the title “Kematian Teoh timbulkan pelbagai spekulasi politik“, blogger cum lawyer Art Harun, in which in his profile, he describes himself a failed government experiment and a non-governmental organism condemned the author. Excerpt:
The whole Malaysia is outraged not because the victims are Indians, Chinese or Malays. Or are you too blinkered to know that? The outrage stems from the fact that the victims were seemingly treated in an inhuman manner, in a manner which is almost animalistic in nature. The whole Malaysia is grieving. Do you think only African American grieve the death of Michael Jackson? Or are you too busy with your racial study to notice?
Rightly said so.
What’s really wrong with the so-called “Group Managing Director” when he can’t even properly exercising his role to promote racial unity instead of spilling venom which is going to cause hatred among the many Malaysians?
What’s race has to do with this matter, when a life was taken away while being asked to become a witness to help solve the alleged corruption case, does it matter if you’re a Malay, Chinese, Indian, Kadazan, Dusun, Iban, etc.?
Let’s see if Zainul is to be so proud of his own writing if the victim is his loved one. (Of course I hope NO life is being taken away in such an abrupt manner, let’s Beng Hock’s case the last ever recorded!)

This is not about speculation. We need to know WHY this young man died – the thruth & nothing but the thruth. I bet he must have been pushed by some arrogant prick of a police officer who could not get the victim to tell lies!
If there is any speculation, it is only because there is no longer any trust in the very institutions that are supposed to uphold justice and truth.
Every time there is a scandal and an ensuing cry from the public for tough action, UMNO would use its dailies and their “spokesmen” to write disparaging articles against the opposition and the other races.
As if the public does not know it’s the work of UMNO. Don’t think that we are stupid.
