After the infamous 17-room mansion built by the late Umno politician Zakaria Mat Deros in Klang, things come to a complete standstill since then.
There isn’t any media speculation of the land scandal until yesterday when DAP’s Sekinchan state assemblyperson Ng Suee Lim took a large entourage of journalists to visit a lavish new home in Shah Alam, located in the secluded Jalan 1/7L in Section 7 of Shah Alam.
Interestingly, the mansion is alleged to be owned by former Selangor MB Khir Toyo and claimed that the 50,000 sq feet or 0.5 hectare property was constructed at an estimated cost of RM20 million while the land was bought at a price of RM3.8 million.
Hence, the immediate question: What makes the former dentist to afford a RM20 million over mansion with his 8 years of salary serving as Selagor MB?
As a public figure, did he declare how he manage to accumulate the amount of wealth?
Khir, being a fighter himself, rebutted Ng’s allegation in a hastily arranged conference, by saying that he bought the house with a loan of RM3.5 million from a foreign bank and threatened to take legal against Ng for the allegation.
I say, let’s go ahead with the legal suit, and it’s from there, we’ll see more dirty linen being washed in the public.
It’s the kind of public scrutiny we’re looking forward as Malaysians are being deprived of thriller stories for many years since then.
We’ll know who is the cock talker – Ng or the former dentist.

I disagree .. How can we let dirty politician to create a fortune for himself from rakyat’s hard-earned money ? U think his mansion is built with his salary ? Nope , the money amassed from corruption practices (hence , some rakyat will be discriminated , sidelined..etc) , remember the land scam ? Remember how he squeezed PKNS money for his family trips ..etc ? The mansion must be seized and turn into a public place !!!! Shit BN !!!!
Yes, PR should focus on economic issues but if it there are evidences that a politician is corrupt, we should probe it to the bottom. But one needs to a have a corroborative proof that the mansion is really worth RM24m. Hope the Sekinchan state assemblyperson did not exaggerate on the value of the mansion. However it is definitely worth more than RM3.8m ! Something is not right. My guess is that he could have bought the property at a dirt cheap price in return for a favour. Find out who the vendor is and how much was the property valued by the IR when they assessed the stamp duty for the title transfer. If you probe along the line I am sure it will reveal the cover-ups and collusions. This time, this Toyol guy will suffer the same fate as Zakaria.
