A day after the maverick politician Zaid Ibrahim joins PKR, there are rumors that more MCA members are ready to defect to PR coalition.
Two heavyweights from MCA – a former senator and a former cabinet minister are on the verge of joining.
The fact is, MCA is now in turmoil.
Chinese support for MCA dropped from 30 percent to 15 percent since the GE in March ‘08.
In an online poll published on the MCA president Ong Tee Keat’s blog, majority of the voters felt MCA should leave BN.
However, after wide media coverage on the poll result, the poll was totally removed from the sidebar.
Tee Keat, who is supposed to be in the parliament to be answerable to the rakyat on the PKFZ scandal, is running away from his parliamentary accounting by leaving for overseas on a so-called "business trip".
As of now, at the height of the PKFZ crisis, what can be more important than the RM12.5 billion wastage of taxpayers money? Opposition leader Lim Kit Siang, who is going to move an emergency motion in Parliament on Monday to establish a Royal Commission of Inquiry into the scandal, is furious with the chicken act, condemning him of emulating previous Transport Minister Chan Kong Choy by running to overseas.
Now, the latest, Awang Selamat from the Umno’s controlled Utusan Melayu urged MCA to quit anytime, alleging MCA as an ineffective component party in the BN while questioning MCA’s ability in garnering Chinese votes in the coming GE.
Biarkan sahaja.
MCA is screwed, but no one in the party is going to admit it while voters nowadays are astute.
By the time they’re admitting their own failure in the next election, it’s not about MCA quitting BN, but it’s more about MCA being kicked out of BN.
The same goes to Gerakan and MIC too.

OTK is a total failure as such, not because he is corrupted, but because he has failed or, what I should say, no ball to disclose what is truth about the PKFZ deal from the begging..!
I dont like the way he looks even. Self proclaimed a tough guy, putting up the poll question online but why to remove it when it comes to draw the attention off all? What was he afraid if he has something to explain? chicken out is not the way, face the public man, show us u have the ball to do and say.
for the sake of Malaysian chinese, or I would rather call ourselve bangsa malaysia, disolve MCA and jump ship now for what is right. UMNO is no more hope except to leave it.
The longer PTK stays on in BN, the worse that future of malaysians will get. Unless he would rather cling on to the post than saving the malaysians’ future.
Hopelessly, HOPELESS.
