Second class citizen won a medal for the country. What happened to all my ‘tuan’. Luckily Chong Wei did not win the gold medal, if not I don’t know where my ‘tuan’ will hide their face. Maybe we are going to have handicaps in sports also. When my ‘tuan’ play against the second class citizen they will be given handicaps. Playing fair and square is not ‘fair’ to my ‘tuan’, they need to have special privelleges because they are ‘tuan’
[SK] Leave ‘tuan’ out of sports, will ya?

I’m trying to find blogs to write to say that Lee Chong Wei did well in winning silver for us. It’s a shame he couldn’t get our first gold medal, but not taking anything away from him, he did well in getting silver for us. Well done Lee Chong Wei!

And to be fair, it was "tuan-tuan Razif Sidek dan Jalani Sidek" who won the first medals (bronze) for Malaysia in badminton in 1992.
If I’m not mistaken, Lee Chong Wei’s coach is a "tuan".
How about everyone work together to earn a gold medal in 2012?
August 18th, 2008 at 11:05 pm
Yes, I agree with Peter: everyone should work together to earn a gold medal in 2012. Everyone should stop looking at the colour of our skin.
The picture of Chong Wei hugging his coach, Misbun says it all; When we look beyond race and creed and focus on the same goal, so many things can be done.
Perhaps we have not learnt enough after 51 years of independence…?
