Double blow for Umno

While Umno is still undecided over its candidate to be put against PKR de-facto leader Anwar Ibrahim in the coming Permatang Pauh by-election, the party itself (Umno) already plagued by rampant corruption allegation in the coming polls in December and a rare court ruling which is unfavorable to the party.
As a start, Umno VP Muhyiddin Yassin who recently decided not to move up the chain from contesting the top 2 posts and defending his current post alleged that money politics in Umno has reached the branches level.
"We used to be concerned at the division or national levels. Now, it has even reached the branches. If it goes unchecked, Umno may suffer dire consequences and may disintegrate," he said.
Immediately, Umno was seen to embroil in a fresh court case when the Kuala Lumpur High Court had last month ordered Umno to pay a whopping RM218 million claimed by Elegant Advisory for providing campaign paraphernalia worth hundreds of millions ringgit including posters, badges, banners and caps in the March 2004 General Election.
The amount is the highest-ever sum of money that the ruling party has been ordered to pay by a court of law and the Umno president Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said Umno will definitely appeal to set aside the judgment.
What a double blow for Umno in its bid to stop the former DPM to return to the Parliament as the Opposition Leader!

Money politics is common, but they are reval in AAB’s leadership. You won’t find any sort of this cases during TDM’s leadership. Strange, huh? Now who emphasize this money politics, TDM or AAB? By common judgement I definitely go for TDM. And AAB is trying to clean all his shit deeds up, polishing back the political party in to a clean party from corruptions and money politics.
Now money politics does not involve UMNO. U might get it from the oppossitions as well. Money politics are normal. So no big deal for it. People now involve in politics for money, so basically no money no talk.

it’s usual for any political party to invest million of cash to generate the party during election.ask any political party and they wont deny that fact.to be in politics u need as much money as u can to launch your political career and that’s fact.
it’s still mystery though of who UMNO is going to nominate for the by-election in Permatang Pauh.

Dear Blogger,
Hello.
My name is Edward Skading, from Selangor, Malaysia. I am writing for your viewpoint and support towards a good cause campaign to protect and uphold our consumer rights.
I am being sued by an arrogant corporate company (F&N Dairies (M) Sdn Bhd) because I exposed a horrible discovery concerning one of their products on my weblog. It is all about my shocking finding of an abnormal substance (mould) in a “Tea Pot” brand, sweeten condensed milk tin-can. You can read the full story (all the correspondence letters) and view photos of the contaminated milk and the disgusting hazardous conditions of F&N Dairies’ plant at my weblog http://consumersrighteousness.blogspot.com/.
As a consumer, I am sickened by the fact that we are not provided utmost protection from this sort of situations and whatever consumer rights we have now are defenceless. I also feel that my human rights had been deprived when I am being forced to silence and on top of all, I feel cheated when the company executive responded to my grievances that they are not liable for damaged products in the marketplace.
I am only requesting that the company be truthful, reliable and accountable for their mistakes, moreover produce cleaner and safer food. I believe, it is the responsibility of our whole society to protect the rights and benefits of consumers, and all concerned parties should together strive to do the work of standing up for consumer rights, improving the consumption environment, and pushing for faster, better economic and social development.
I sincerely hope you will cover my story on your weblog and tell it to the world. I would greatly value and appreciate your kind support.
If you wish to contact me, please send an email to eddskading@hotmail.com.
Thank you.
Yours truly,
Edward Skading
