Another sandiwara: PI retracted his SD

Friday, July 4th, 2008 | 11:31 am @ SK

Yet another stunning revelation.

Malaysiakini reported that Private detective P Balasubramaniam today retracted his statutory declaration which had linked Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to murdered Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu.

He said he was forced to make the declaration under duress and the exact person who had introduced Altantuya to Abdul Razak Baginda is he himself, not Najib!

On top of that, he produced a new Statutory Declaration (SD) to replace the previous SD, accompanied by a new lawyer, not his other lawyer Americk Sidhu, who was with him yesterday.

Welcome to the new Malaysia, a land full of conspiracy theories which never cease to amaze me since quite some times ago.

Also, since when SD has became a trend in Malaysia?

What next… he retracts his own SD?!
This shows how unreliable this PI is.
The fact that Anwar stands behind him during the press statement says A LOT about the whole thing.
Next come the big question, why did P Balasubramaniam decided to retract several paragraphs in his own SD? Maybe he ‘chicken out’ from it and decided to lessen the allegations.
And who is this person that had forced Mr.Bala to make such declaration?

what gives? cold feet? how’s anyone going to believe him again? SDs are cheap eh..maybe the Commissioner should charge exhorbitant prices lest ppl get hooked on making and then retracting them. has he JUST realized how much is at stake?

"…since when SD has became a trend in Malaysia?"
Since the day kangaroos sat on the bench, and lawyers wrote judgements and go on holiday with judges.

  4. LC Teh says:

    Uda WS,
The question also could be "who forced him to retract certain sections of the SD?"

WtF.How come he suddenly retracted his SD.There must be something not right.Either he was bribed or coered.Maybe there is a compromise between the two parties.

    Balasubramaniam retracts SD…

Abdul Razak Baginda’s private investigator P Balasubramaniam retracted his statutory declaration which he made less than 24 hours ago, stating that he was compelled to affirm the said statutory declaration under duress. [Thestar]
    What other blog…

A copy of the new SD by Bala is at http://audie61.wordpress.com/2008/07/04/duress-man-statutory-in-full-malaysiakini/

Could you pls kindly point out where it actually states that it was him(Bala) that introduced Altantuya to Razak Baginda?

Or should I just assume that what you meant is that Razak Baginda met Altantuya without the introduction from anyone?

Retracted or otherwise, Bala’s first SD shows that some VIP other than DSAI is scseptible to using the back door. I wonder what the Attorney General has to say to this. Well, it’s obvious the rakyat are all well of it now, no matter if there is a new SD or not!

A government of sandiwara and lies. That’s why it’s shaky all the way. I wonder what the Imam of Islam Hadhari has to say!
