Inspiration from Tun Mahathir?

Ever since the half-past six bridge fiasco, former prime minister Tun Mahathir Mohamad never cease to amaze the crowd.
After being pressured to be put under trial for his role in the judiciary crisis as per recommendation of the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the Lingam Video Clip, he throws in the towel by quitting Umno, immediately asserting tremendous pressure on the current premier Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to resign as the party’s president.
"I will only come back to the party when there is a change in leadership," he said.
He also urged other party members to follow his lead, in a call analysts said could herald a mass exodus that could potentially split the party and topple the government.
In an immediate response, the embattled PM is shock, nevertheless, he is staying put for now but refuses to meet up with Tun personally and coax him out of his decision.
Now, let’s take a closer look.
What’s needed now is the Opposition coalition to take the lead, spearheaded by the avowedly multiracial PKR, to show in their policies and practices that they rise above race and for the MCA, the MIC and other race-based parties to disband, perhaps form a new multiracial party and for other component parties to leave the BN and thereby isolate the incompetent Umno with its outdated Ketuanan Melayu agenda?
While Mahathir’s former deputy Musa Hitam applauded Tun’s latest move as a blessing in disguise for Umno, I look at it another perspective as I believe it’s good to see old hand at politics like Tun leads the much needed reform, emboldening rakyat’s courage to indulge in the new Ketuanan Rakyat?
I’m serious, not trying to be cheeky.

From Dr M resignation to a nation Economy and politic problem……I worry Malaysia future
Dr M resignation will further weaken the Malaysia political stability, from the economic point of view, as a normal citizen we are worry about the current global problem like commodity price is raising , obviously the Oil is the main issue. USA have a sign of economic downturn already, this will be impact to Malaysia sooner or later. The former Deputy PM of Singapore Dr Tan had warned Singaporean to be get ready for the next economic turmoil.
Lets look into above matter added the instability of Malaysia political issue, would Malaysia will hit by both issue ? This is the worry, if both Economical and political issue hit our beloved Malaysia, are we strong enough like 1997 to solve the above both problem.
Today i just got some Singapore dollar from Singapore to exchange to Malaysia Ringgit, surprisingly SGD1 is equal to RM2.363. This should be the highest in this year.are this the sign of economy turmoil is coming?…………….
Further to this , the global natural disaster in Myanmar and china also further worsen the world economy. as a IT and Businessman , i have a feeling that the economy nightmare is coming…………… be ready………

Mahathir is overestimating the power and influence he still *thinks* he has. And also underestimating Pak Lah’s great ability to not crack under pressure.

I have doubts about Tun’s increasing racial stand.
