The old man, Lim Keng Yaik

Arghh, Lim Keng Yaik the old man, such a despicable character, is at it again!
It’s only a few days when he wished Lee "best of luck" while stressing that he was not being sarcastic about it.
Today, LKY being his own-self, no longer able to curb his fervent desire to lash out at the ex-Gerakan strongman Lee Kah Choon and snubbed him as an opportunist.
"The sooner you can see the (real) face the better. No principles. No spirit of struggle and wants to take the easy way out. […] I’m disappointed and angry because he was picked by me," he said.
Maybe he is too frustrated by the fact that even a "young punk" like Lim Guan Eng who has fallen for PKR de-facto Anwar Ibrahim’s sweet talk is good enough to poach his protege to serve the rakyat?
Anyway, opportunist or otherwise, who cares? Why bothers?
To us, what matters most is for him to deliver on the promise on his skills.
The rest, as they say, is history.

LKY is bitter that he could not retire at the height of Gerakan’s glory. He has to suffer the humility that despite his active support for his son’s pre-election campaign (all the free makan and shows), the constituents of Batu rejected him for Tian Chua. Gerakan fared so poorly that they nearly lost their pants. This means LKY will have no legacy. He did nothing really outstanding during his tenure. He is likely to fade into oblivion.
Obviously he is getting senile much faster than anyone’s guess.

Why the grumpy old man still cares of Lee Kah Choon when Lee had already resigned from the party? He must be mentally mad and it is better for him to mind his own business or else Gerakan would be history in the next GE.It is better for him to revamp the party first before telling others.

LKY in juts one year of being as a minister has probably done more for this country than you as a blogger.
Sometimes you have to look at the big picture n u have to have ethics. And without LKY there’s no LKY and LKC is the first to admit this. LKY gave LKC the same protection the same as Mahathir gave Anwar for him to rise as the Deputy Secretary General of Gerakan.
If LKC was an ordinary Gerakan member nobody would be interested in him, including Lim Guan Eng. It is only because of LKC previous position in Gerakan, and he knows by taking LKC he can demoralize the other Gerakan members.

Looks like LKY has got the Mahathir syndrome…cannot shut up and retire gracefully. The more he says, the less respect he gets. Now his own party members are beginning to lose respect for him.

Whatever LKY has done for the Malaysians, he will retain respect only if he knows how to retire gracefully.
