Between NEP and New Economic Agenda

Between New Economic Policy (NEP) and New Economic Agenda going to be introduced by PKR and DAP coalition, the Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said NEP already ended in 1991.

So, why the dissatisfaction?

NEP could be Nak Ekonomi Penipu, whereas New Economic Agenda is straight forward thing – help the poor and needy Malaysians of all races as priority, not brotherhood and uncle granduncle and already dead relatives (so to speak!).

Does it really matter? Whatever the system, just have open tenders, transparency and excellent governance. These three qualities will already strike fear into the hearts of those who depend on handouts. All the kaki bodek can close shop!
