Cans of worms

Thursday, March 6th, 2008 | 12:18 am @ SK

"Vote for BN and you won’t get disappointed," the PM Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said.

"Vote with clear conscience and not let emotions cloud the judgement when casting votes in Saturday’s polls," MIC president S Samy Vellu said.

Chinese voters have no choice, but to continue supporting BN, failing which their interests will take a beating," the Misinformation Minister Zainuddin Maidin said.

What a collective effort from the party leaders to prevent further swing among voters, unfortunately, voters nowadays are well informed for doing the right thing.

The reality of witnessing a rare but real sunset for the Barang Naik party is fast approaching, when the rakyat is going to make their voices heard in this weekend!

By the way, you can read them on BERNAMA, the Malaysian National News Agency for you.

Reply to the first: Yes, I agree. We won’t be disappointed because we already know what to expect out of your party. How many times can one be disappointed by the same act?

Reply to the second: Yes, I agree, but should our ballot ticket indicate a cross not on your party, I am afraid that is purely the act of God as we would have voted with all of my conscience without any emotions. Afterall, your colleague from the trade and industry portfolio would have concurred that God put you all at where you are today.

Reply to the third: Yes, I agree. The nation’s English standard will continue to be on par with you as the benchmark on the big screens and airwaves, not to mention the clever selection of information to show that your party did all the right things for the people!

hm..jaywalker sounds v v sarcastic, nevertheless, its the fact ..

refering to the 1st phrase, since we have bearing with these disappointment for Some felt that its rather risky and they rather stay this way cos anyhow its still so predictable. However, if we could’ve reduce some of their authority and their political monopolization, perhaps our voices can be heard clearer?
Its rather hard to ask someone to fight for us knowing that they do not have enough authority to help us no matter how hard they fight. Its as though sending Troy to war, without his weapon.

As for the 2nd phrase, am already damn fed up with all that he’s ‘done’ to our housing area, parliament, road, etc.
Bribery & corruption is the X-factor that is drowning our economy progress. Singapore never stops progressing, why? Thats because they are truly anti-coruption and anti-biased.

And as for the 3rd clause, i think its a typo. ‘Chinese’ should be replaced with ‘ Malays’. If so much benefits are given to Chinese, why not list out some example? And next to it, put a column that list down what the Malays are getting. So far, they are the one that is getting benefit and special treatment. Those are the info that he need to know before making that statement. and he dares call him self that INFO minister.

Oh ya, before i forget. What’s this about ads in newpaper that said "Working Quietly, Effectively. For results" [Direct Quote]
The last time i check ,
Quiet != Ads in Tv, Astro, Newspapers, Radios, Billboards
    those are on AMPLIFIER…

Why not spend the money [our monthly contributions] to improve our country.
Its time for us to put a stop to these, make a change to our country. Vote for a better Malaysia, Vote for Change..
