Double standard

Today is the nomination day, the day which showcases the double standard practiced by the Election Commision (EC).
BN’s Rafidah Aziz missed her signature in the nomination form. PAS’s representatives protested and being snubbed by the Returning Officer.
The result: She is eligible to contest.
BN’s new face Sharon Song Choy Leng won an appeal on her disqualification over technical fault.
The result: She is allowed to participate in a tough fight against DAP’s secretary general Lim Guan Eng.
BN’s candidate missed his signature in the nomination form to contest in Kelantan’s Cempaka state seat against incumbent Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat.
The result: BN won the appeal and allowed to contest.
DAP’s Selangor state candidate Ng Suee Lim put in incorrect nomination date as polling date.
The result: Nearly disqualified, after initial disqualification as reported by Sin Chew.
