]]> By: Michael http://www.skthew.com/2008/02/15/zaid-ibrahim/comment-page-1/#comment-65336 Michael Sun, 02 Mar 2008 04:48:52 +0000 http://www.skthew.com/2008/02/15/zaid-ibrahim/#comment-65336 I don't know Zaid much before I read the story published in Forbes (issue Mar 10, 2008).  After knowing him, I think we need more leaders like Zaid in UMNO and Malaysia in general.   Malaysia (or UMNO specifically as the President is de facto Malaysia PM)  is going thru a leadership crisis now!  We do not have leader after all after Mahathir had stepped down (Although we do not agree with his many mega projects, perhap he still one of the leader that guided Malaysia well).  Look around UMNO nominated MPs for coming election, not many of them have any good record to be mentioned.  What else to lead Malaysia to next level achievement!  Over a casual conversation with a friend who what is happenning with Ministers today (when Chua's VCD hit the news), I said to him, Malaysia is govern by M for "Morons"!.  They are no ministers governing Malaysia!!!  So what do you expect from a group of "morons".  They still think that Malaysian are naive like decades ago and could be led in same manners!   I honestly plead Zaid not to quit UMNO or politics at all.  We Malaysians need more of "him".  We need him to rope in more people like "him" into UMNO and other BN's parties to make the changes that will bring Malaysia to next level!!!  If we think we can, then we can do it!  Malaysia BOLEH!
