Do the right thing in the next election, will you?

Tuesday, November 13th, 2007 | 2:16 pm @ SK

First, the captain condemned the memorandum to the Yang DiPertuan Agong as a trap.

Next, the office boy lashed out at the opposition and calling them pondan.

Maybe the captain might not aware that he has indirectly insulted the rulers who are playing vital roles in defending democracy, doesn’t matter the fact that Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections (BERSIH) delegation is now considering petitioning all nine Malay sultans to support the cause in seeking clean and free elections.

Let me tell you this, Pak Lah. "Work with me, work for me" is a rubbish motto.
Indah khabar daripada rupa. It used to work well in 2004 but look at what’s happening now, even when we the rakyat are willing to work with you?

If you’re ever willing to work with us and even if you’re not willing to work with us too but at least willing to right the wrong, the 40,000 of us won’t have walked all the way to the Istana Negara. You think the peole who voted you in -  the rakyat love to brave the chemically-laced water and tear gas?

In the end of the day, we’ve no choice but to turn our plea to the rakyat’s constitutional partner in governance: the Yang DiPertuan Agong.

Daulat Tuanku!

And now, you and your machai are saying something else. Are you saying that Yang DiPertuan Agong is not mature enough to handle the truth? Are you saying that the rakyat are dumb enough not to react rationally just by participating in the rally?

Enough is enough! Do the right thing in the next election, will you?

Fight on brother! Keep sharing your views and the truth shall overcome all the lies. We need to keep using our media (Internet) to enlighten and win as many voters as possible to get Bedol and the corrupt out.

what i know is, i would rather choose to do the right thing not to throw my vote on those who are so proud with demonstrasi jalanan. further more, it really surprised me indeed for you SK to shut your eyes on the participants of the so called "BERSIH", tapi tak nampak macam mana bersih with the samseng, mat2 rempit and even worse, you are proudly called all these people representing the rakyat! pls…pls dun turn your eyes away….just look at those photos posted everywhere in the the world wide world, do you really want these people represent you?

Rite on bro, keep up the pressure. The taxi boy are talkin cock as usual and behave like a monyet…..

    dear Ronchester (aka taxi-boy? no?)
You have the right not to agree/join the rally. You have the right not to vote. You have the right to disagree with SK or BERSIH.
But I suspect your comment is rather prejudicial.
You think - Samsengs, Mat2 Rempits - as you call it - are part of this rally.
I see many pictures of the rally. I see many people from all walks of life. Perhaps Samsengs & Mat2 Rempits are in there. But I doubt that they are the majority.

In fact, Samsengs and Mat2 Rempits are in UMNO youth & MCA youth too. Their pictures may not be "everywhere" but they are there in shirts and ties.

It is a known fact that there are Samseng / Gang Leaders in the MCA leadership. But that would not stop you from supporting them since they are in BN, right? I suppose you would rather turn a blind eye to it - just like the MP of Jasin, right?

  5. ronchester says:

dear josh, some comments from me.

"But I suspect your comment is rather prejudicial." –> I think all our comment here are rather prejudicial, don’t you think so?

Many people from all walk of life? I really doubt that. To my surprise, most of you are proudly claimed that these people representing "rakyat"? Who are they and who authorised them to represent others? are they qualified with such "samseng" act? think about it…

"It is a known fact that there are Samseng / Gang Leaders in the MCA leadership." –> I really interested in this fact. Since you mentioned that its a KNOWN fact, so mind to share?

    Dear Ronchester,

So i reckon that u will do the "right" thing by ignoring the fact that our current administration had done nothing to deliver its promises during the last election. I would laso reckon is it the "right" thing for the current administration to undermind the supreme law of our country, which is the Federal Constitution. I think it is also "right" for us to sit back and let certain quarters to devoid the rakyat a fair and democratic election. Why not, one might add, since our country had progressed so far under the current administration. Hack, we even had satay in the Interational Space Station for Pete’s sake.

I think you are also "right" to lap i everything served up by our mainstream (certain quarters controlled, i might add) media portrayal of the 10/11 Demonstration as a big bunch of unruly youths being used by the opposition for campaigning purposes.

I do see where you are coming from, mate. Brilliant.

    Regards,
    En Haw

    Hi Ronchester,
I do hope you are someone who is fair minded, rational and seeks the truth. Otherwise, we might as well ignore you since there are "cybertroopers" employed by Umno to do the "fingermen’s job".  We just hope (against hope) that you aren’t that low.

That said, I will be glad to email you the details of the samseng list if you just drop your real email to SK. Otherwise, a simple check with some local restaurants will reveal the truth. You do want the truth, right?

  9. enhaw82 says:

    Ron,

Remember the recent shooting of MCA Youth Leader in Taiping or somewhere up north If i am not mistaken. I guess you are smart enough to know that 1 + 1 = 2, right?

Joining you guys on the comment. Making my stand to share some opinions. Hope you guys don’t mind.

What do we consider as the right thing in next election? Are we in a democratic country? Harsh words and actions are what I see around us these days when comes to politics. Pity the Rakyat who just want to take part in the democracy with so many influences.

Put down the pro-this or pro-that and see. We’re in fact individuals of different needs and different satisfaction. Do you dare to say that there’s 100% right and wrong when comes to politics? Or is it to say that, do the right thing in the next election, so that the country will get very prosperous, and the Rakyat will live a better life, no need to worry about oil price going up..in a nutshell, our worries now become worries no more. Boleh ke?

  12. ronchester says:

    Dear enhaw82 & Josh,

First of all, thanks for the replies & valuable piece of information. Secondly, i would like to thanks both of you for all the assumptions and allegations made against me. I was shocked by how you guys think & reacted merely based on my comment. But it open my eyes wider how insecure but powerful the internet and blogosphere manipulated people’s thinking.

By doing the "right" thing, is that directly reflected that i am ignoring the fact  how imperfect that our current administration is? By commenting on the street demonstration, is that mean i am ignoring what the opposition trying to do? How you guys can assure me that i am going to do the "right" thing by giving my vote to opposition? I wasn’t aware of mainstream media portrayal of the 10/11 Demonstration as a big bunch of unruly youths being used by the opposition for campaigning purposes (thanks again for highlighting), but then when i looked at the photos + the footage all over the internet (since not much photos posted on mainstream media), oh my goodness i told myself…look at their action and behavior.

I was thinking, if the recent shooting can end up with the accusation of relating MCA leadership with gangsterism and that we should stop supporting them, so did you guys ever forget about the opposition parties of having leader who being caught of liwat & wet-caught (tangkap basah). Since our judiciary system was compromised sometimes ago (refering to the Lingam’s footage), i was just wondering also whether the defendant of the Kes Liwat was rightly got away with all those charges. Did he commit or he was just taking advantage of the compromised judiciary system? Let me know if you guys know the answer. I do not think this is as simple as 1 + 1 = 2.

Josh, i wish i could be as fair minded and as rational as you, but definitely not as sensitive as you. I am no cybertrooper and just an ordinary guy who feel to share some comments. The comment might not be something you guys like to hear but again, freedom & democracy?
