Crown Prince of Perak Raja Nazrin Shah never cease to amaze me (and many other Malaysian!), hence he needs no introduction from this blogger.
This time, I hope PM Abdullah Ahmad Badawi would be impressed by him too, given that the intellectual input given by no other than one of the most educated and respected royalty in Malaysia, and simply it’s free-of-charge too.
Raja Nazrin said Prof Syed Hussein believed that if society’s consciousness was awakened to the ills of corruption and gave its cases widespread publicity, it would generate such adverse reaction that the government would be forced to take action.
"Complaints and protests may be irksome, but they should be treated as welcome and constructive feedback," he said. [Bernama]
Interestingly, on a separate event in KL, the minister who called political bloggers goblok Zainuddin Maidin apparently sounds a lot more goblok than us when he said Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) will show pictures of buildings, particularly corporate premises, which do not fly the Jalur Gemilang on its TV channels.
"The move was to remind everyone in this country to be more conscious of the 50th anniversary celebrations of Malaysia’s independence this year," he said.
At this point of time, I hope ZAM is not going to feel offended by this blogger to conclude that he is more mentally challenged compared to us goblok, afterall, I honestly believe he should do himself a great justice by at least trying to emulate what’s being shared by Raja Nazrin (e.g. listen to irksome complaints and accept constructive feedback, etc.), shouldn’t he?

What’s next? Tell you what newspapers you can buy, what TV programs you can watch, what websites you can visit? Oh wait, they already do that. Next thing you know they will be telling you how many children you can have, which city you can live in, what jobs you can work.
