More ex-Malaysians

Going to be 4 years into his administration, I thought Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi should have learned, at least this blogger believes that it’s good and long enough to gauge rakyat confidence level towards the Government.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. When Deputy Home Minister Tan Chai Ho said 106,000 Malaysians have given up their citizenship, with Malays accounted for 70 per cent, Pak Lah is unperturbed.
"All those who had opted to surrender their citizenship have officially wrote in to the authorities informing that they are giving up their citizenship of this country. […]"But one thing I want to stress and explain is that Malaysians who have surrendered their citizenship to the government cannot have their citizenship status reinstated later, suddenly they want to become a Malaysian citizen again."
Now you know why I prefer to call it Dream 2057 rather than Vision 2057.

He is never concerned….less man more share mah! However,70% are bumis? Incredible. Chai Ho did not say where they migrated to? I know of many friends of mine who want to jump ship because of the oppressive religious tenets they are shackled to.

amazing. they’re unconcerned that msians are leaving/surrendering their citizenship and yet acknowledge a brain drain. i wonder what their plans are for resources?
citing that women are the majority, due to marriage, i also wonder if he’s trying to be "politically correct" in saying that these ppl have written in to surrender. because frm stories i’ve heard, the msian government asks them to surrender their passports.
