I believe time being in should be focusing on one single group, the existing one… instead of creating a new one, they should look into what was the difference of ideology and work from there..

A new group would further divide the bloggers when already now they can’t capture the non socio political bloggers….

I shouldn’t worry too much about 2 or 3 different groups for blogs.

As long as they have a code of universal values like freedom of expression and mutual respect.

ie everyone should have the basic decency to be able to agree to disagree without resorting to car bombs etc.

Keep writing. I don’t believe I will sign up with any group yet :)

SK: While it is commendable for people to try to organize themselves I think they are missing the point about blogs and bloggers. They are strongest when they do their own thing and are unregulated. Then the wisdom of crowds prevail. The Swarm is many disparate individuals and one a the same time.

When you get people together like the groups that the Malaysian bloggers are doing, rivalry and petty politicking results. You then do not have the wisdom of crowds but the foolishness of mobs.

But then again it may be just a Malaysian characteristic to think that they are better or more correct than others.

Yes SK, different bloggs can come out with myriad ideologies, but must stay united as bloggers…..to each his own mah!
