Free lesson from Works Minister S Samy Vellu which I thought you might want to know too.
"It is not mandatory for cars to use the tunnel (Stormwater Management and Road Tunnel)…if you don’t want to use it then you can opt for the untolled road but that would take you 90 minutes to reach your destination.
True, we aren’t being forced or conned or cheated or threatened into using the tunnel, so it’s either we pay for it or we get trapped for 90 minutes, period.
But, hold on. God damn it, think about it again, you don’t have to experience the similar jam like we joe public, do you? You’ve your escort team widening up the "90 minutes" road for your convenience to pass through, don’t you? The most envious part is, even when your driver speeds through the tunnel, you don’t have to pay a single cent for it, do you?
Keep up the unique antics of yours, Samy Vellu. I hope one day you’ll get sacked (Yeah I know, I know it’s impossible, being the only Indian representative in the cabinet) over your remark, at least you’re on equal term like how you ask people to go to hell.
Coincidentally, Samy’s colleague was complaining that NGOs are stupid.
Intentionally or unintentionally, that indeed makes 2 of them.

For ages we did not have this smart(ass) tunnel. We could do with it. Dont use it lah….let it be another white elephant……no, the gomen can use it to store our submarine when it arrives….best protection…like air-raid shelters…what Samy did not tell you guys this? He is subtly saying dont use lah, my intention was for our russian sub.
