Kit, something wrong?

Lately, Democratic Action Party (DAP) is famous for all the wrong reasons.

On Jan 10, Bahau State Assemblyman Lim Fui Ming quit the party, citing the lack of support as the reason. In another word, he felt being isolated by the party members.

Last Friday, 14 out of 20 DAP Selangor committee members have voted to push out Ong Chee Keng, the chairman of the DAP Selangor state liaison committee and bring in Ean Yong Hian Wah, known to be closely-linked to Lim Guan Eng, which was later denied by Guan Eng as being behind the ouster.

However, the words of  Chee Keng, who said that he was marginalised by DAP leaders and that the DAP does not practice democracy is a cause for concern for voters planning to vote for the opposition in the next general election, which is predicted to be the best chance for DAP to wrest more seats, given the unconvincing level of performance shown by the Barisan Nasional’s government.

What’s more, when DAP is considered as an outsider compared to Barisan Alternatif (BA) which consisted of opposition parties, when DAP decided to withdraw in 2001 due to the difference in ideology.

Something wrong? I hope Kit will listen to this because at this moment, Malaysians need more of DAP and other opposition parties to champion for people’s life rather than being seen as party with cracks in its leadership.

  • The new leadership of DAP Selangor today presented our petition to the Minister of Works despite all the negative comments on our leadership.

We want to prove to the people that we are capable to make a change and we will continue to strive for the betterment for the rakyat despite being poured with cold water.

You should ask lim guan eng the secretary general, not lim kit siang the old man.

DAP is really full of immature polictikus, what’s there to rebut? what power do they want so badly?

And pls don’t bring DAP flags to toll hike protest next time.

I’m a bahau voter. i vote for lim fui ming as our state assembly man during last  general election..he is a kind, helpful and good state assembly man that i ever found.
He quite DAP is a right decision. N.S. DAP nvr treat him well and nvr be greatful on what he did. What DAP need him is on his $$…they will only ask him for donation when they organize some functions or dinner. Sumore the NS DAP president, Anthony loke doesn’t perform as well as others thought. He din’t respect Lim Fui Ming as his ’senior’ sumore act arrogant!
i support lim fui ming quite DAP, its not a good / suitable place for him to stay.he has made a right decision that everyone agreed with.

  • if it is the problem of NS DAP, then why didnt he talk to the rest of DAP leaders, particulary the CEC or SG himself?

I dont understand why fui ming should act like that. the way he resigned from the party left the whole party shocked without the opportunity for the party to help to resolve the problem, if it ever exists.
