1 minister, 1 IGP and many Malaysians

By far, Women, Family and Community Development Minister Shahrizat Abdul Jalil is the only minister that really turun padang and performs frequent visit to concern about flood victims at Johor.
Thumbs up to her and we need more action more than minister with remote-control capability!
Yesterday, while she was heading to a flood relief centre in Kampung Bentong Dalam in Kluang, her motorcade of seven cars were trapped by rising floodwater.
Shahrizat called Inspector-General of Police Musa Hassan for help. She had earlier gone on an aerial tour of Kota Tinggi by helicopter with Musa.
"I telephoned the IGP three times asking for help. He advised me not to panic and to just stay put while he handled the situation," she said.
Do normal civilians stand an equal chance to seek assistance from IGP Musa Hassan during emergency case? Probably a warrant for nothing down?
