A dog living next door

A close friend shared a story with me.
There is a dog sitting next door.Every morning when he passes by the house, the dog will howl at him.
One day, he went to the neighbour and asked the owner what’s wrong with the dog?
The owner replied: Oh my dog, he’s actually sitting on nails, but it’s not painful enough to compell him to make a move.
Got it?

If i’m not mistaken, the dog in this case is the rakyat and the owner is the government. I was lmao when I finally figured out the message this story wants to send out. Although short, it actually describes clearly the situation in Malaysia.

Sitting on nails? It’s obvious the government is mistreating the rakyat.
The dog’s howls made no impact on its apathetic owner!
