While I applause Culture, Arts and Heritage Minister Rais Yatim for his effort in strenghtening the national language, I found it totally unnecessary of trying to convert a pure English term into the national language. Terms like Touch ‘N’ Go became "Sentuh Dan Pergi"? Boulevard to "Lebuh Perdana"?
First thing first, what about Integrated Transport Information System (ITIS) signboards along the KL main roads? I have seen too much of "Rojak Language" displayed, either the combination of English and national language or improper use of national language in the message.
