MCA Youth Chief Liow Tiong Lai demanded an explanation from Umno deputy youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin over his outburst, asking him to explain why he said he was misunderstood.
He too stressed that he had been given the full mandate in that meeting itself to bring up the issue to Umno Youth Chief Hishamuddin Hussein as the BN Youth Chief and settle it at the highest level.
Since KJ started it, it’s appropriate for him to stand out and be the one who is going to end it. However today, Hishamuddin said he considers the issue evolving around KJ’s remark that downplayed the role of other Barisan National (BN) component parties, as having been resolved.
"I do not think we need to play up the issue any more,"
Excuse me, when how what and who’s the one who play up the issue?

The only really acceptable thing from KJ is not only a retractment of his statement but include a resolution to ban all racist comments at UMNO Youth meetings and gatherings. To come out and say that the constitution says everyone is equal under the law and there is no such thing as special privillege. It must be no less a recognition of the decades of exploitation and deprivation of the rights of the minorities to built this nation.
