Today, MCA Youth Chief Liow Tiong Lai said Umno Youth deputy youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin must be sincere in solving the controversy created and reminded him to not repeat the remarks he made about Chinese Malaysians again.
"He should not repeat the same remarks. If he said he is misunderstood, tell us why he was misunderstood."
In the similar meeting too, Liow stressed that he had been given the full mandate in that meeting itself to bring up the issue to Umno Youth Chief Hishamuddin Hussein as the BN Youth Chief and settle it at the highest level.
The mandate given serves a timely reminder to his deputy Ling Hee Leong that the concensus reached between him and KJ is on personal basic and did not represent MCA Youth’s stand.
Remember, Hee Leong is not the only Chinese hurted by KJ’s remark.

what about the Malays who were hurt by Gerakan’s remarks????
hanturaya, you’re pahetic. No wonder no ppl bother about your blog, i see zero comments everywhere…no need blog lah
We work hard for what we achieve in live, you should do that too. There’s hardcore poor ppl everywhere ,every races, not only you!
Why blame others if you can’t afford to buy a house or your income is lower?
limpeh, u tak suka boleh keluar…jangan lupa kamu orang luar…
(AS IF INDONESIA IS PART OF MALAYSIA…)
i think there’s another paragraph of my original msg , where is it lah?
i am not saying i agree with what KJ says, but what about the feeling of the malays. please dont get emotional. I expect more than that from you and your comment is realy below my expectation.
i dont care whteher people read my blogs or not. I am writing for myself . it is not an ego booster or what so ever. Can we please be civilised about it?
Today I was referred as a pathetic. I check the dictionary just to make sure what it really means. It means that I am sad, wretch, dismal, sad, pitiable, useless and feable person. Why just because I commented on skthew’s blog.
skthew openly said that the blogger was also hurt about KJ statements about the Chinese taking advantage of Malays if we split.
I commented that we Malays are also hurt when our rights were questioned. I do think it was a fair comment from my side. I was not emotional as to me we must have respect for each other;s rights and opinion. Just like skthew; I was also voicing out my opinion. But skthew felt otherwise.
Maybe my blog is not as popular as his, or maybe no one dares to comment on what I write (just to make me feel good). But i do have the right to be heard whether it is pathetic or stalwart.
What I am saying that we the people or the rakyat has the right to be heard and to voice out our opinion.
On his statement that every race has its hardcore poor I do agree but 60 percent of the total hardcore poor are Malays. I do agree that despite what UMNO claimed that the party has done much for the Malays, the political master has not done enough. We still need the matriculation system for our students as promised and stated in the constitution under Malay Rights.
[SK] Which part of the entry did I say that every race has its hardcore poor? Read again?
But the question now if such a statement hurt the non-Malays, what about the feeling of the Malays when Gerakan or MCA question our rights? We do have feelings too.
Hanturaya is proof positive why KJ doing is so sinfully wrong. The delusion of so-called special rights. KJ is literally fanning the politics of hate and division with his casualnes for his own selfish ends. The perpetuation of fallacies and prejudice against minorities that has been exploited and abuse to build this nation. Hanturaya does not know that most that he sees around him and probably most of his own income ultimately still come from these second-class minorities.
Today Singapore just made it easier for Malaysians to stay and work in Singapore while Hanturaya continue to talk about something that never really existed in the first place.. Who do you think will always be better off?
hanturaya,
What I am saying that we the people or the rakyat has the right to be heard and to voice out our opinion. i quote what you said, does it only applies to the Malays?hyporcypt?when we voice out opinion, you ppl demo on streets and wanna burn down properties, kill ppl and etc…when khairy hurt us, we only condemn him on the media and you try to teach me to be civilised…
are you saying that other races in this Malaysia are not equal? my parents was born here, me also the same. So why is it we cannot have the equal rights? are we not Malaysian? who contributed the most to this country’s economy?
Stop blaming others for your failures in life is what you should tell your ppl.
***Not gonna reply you anymore, the poor men gotta work hard to earn a living***
well limpeh;
The constitution was agreed upon by our fore fathers. If you disagree with the constitution then contact your local MPs (if you are a registered voter) and do something about it. ( I am not going to comment on this anymore as limpeh has made up it his mind)
To SK; my apology it was not you who wrote about the hardcore poor, it was limpeh.
To bigjoe; it is NOT SPECIAL RIGHTS it is RIGHTS. Not previleged. In malay it is known as HAK. If your read history the rights was agreed upon by UMNO and MCA under "perjanjian harmoni" a social contract which gave the non-malays citizenship in exchange with the Malay Rights. You cant change or undo history.
O yea hantu,
meaning that if the melaka/malay submit themselves under the chinese government for their protection hundreds of years ago, we cannot undo the history right?so malaysia should still submit themselves under the chinese right?
RIGHT?????
Dear bus uncle;
Interesting argument , whether the Malaccans should kowtow to the Chinese Government because of a pact agreed in the 15th century. However, the Chinese Empire did not deliver their protection when the empire was attacked by the portugese and colonised by them and later by the Dutch and British. (And even the Ming Dysnaty has ceased to exist)
But the pact signed by our fore fathers is still abided. So why rock the boat by questioning the Malay rights? The system is working. I dont think the Malays dare to question about Chinese and Tamil schools.
I remember an incident where a former outspoken prime minister, who was asked about the so called "first class" and "second class" citizen by a reporter in SIngapore. His reply was "I dont mind become a second class citizen when the first class citizen is my driver".
Adios and cheers.
He still didn’t get my point,
In a fast moving globalised world today, if YOU still want to rely on a social pact signed almost 50 years ago in order to survive, you guys just so outdated.
Just ask your hishammudin to waive his keris to the VC of harvard, telling him that certain number of malays must be allowed to be admitted into University.
Just see how your rafidah reacts when she was asked on this 30% quota, "You can go elsewhere.". [DELETED by SK - Mind you words!] In the world where China, India, or evenVietnam and Thailand are progressing better than us, she is still content witht eh amount of investments being invested by foregin investors.
Time will tell, whether the policy will work out or not, but it may be too late to cry over the spilled milk when one day malaysians are the ones who are exported to Indonesia to be hard labours.
-The End-
[...] Apparently, that’s not the end of issue when MCA Youth secretary-general Wee Ka Siong said the matter should be sorted out through the proper channel while MCA Youth Chief Liow Tiong Lai said KJ must be sincere in solving the controversy created and explained why he was misunderstood as quoted. [...]
Suddenly we (Malays) become you people; a "bad word" when we used it but it is okey when the others using it.
He said Just ask your hishammudin to waive his keris to the VC of harvard, telling him that certain number of malays must be allowed to be admitted into University. We are not talking about Harvard which is not in our country (for you who does not know). We are talking about MALAYSIA. And what is wrong about waving a keris? The non Malays can waive their sword or what ever weapon they have!
Bus Uncle, it is not I who did not see your point but it is you who failed to see mine. What if we decided to go back on our words on the citizenship? Of course it will create a huu-hah and a major issue. What if we were to go back on what we promised?
What I am saying is that let the present system prevails the dreams of our forefathers. Of course there are some problems occurred but we manage to face it. I remember a dialogue from Yasmin Ahmad’s GUBRA that a Malay girl and a Chinese guy disclosed that they would immigrate if there is only one race in this country.
Which I agree.
I am not defending Hishamuddin or KJ or whoever as a person. I am supporting them because of the issue.
Indonesia for example the country’s economy is controlled by the chinese, and u see how bad the system is. There is no quota system which enables the politicians to be corrupted and become a-one-race-controlled economy and you see how the Javanese, the Mendailings and the rest of the bumis had to go out and seek employment elsewhere to escape the economic inbalance and feed their families.
The Malays here do not want this and I think most of us will do anything to avoid this. For full comment see http://www.hanturaya.blogspot.com
