Samy: Mahathir gave nothing to Indians!

MIC president S Samy Vellu has criticised former premier Mahathir Mohamad for not giving anything to the Indian Malaysian community under the Eighth Malaysia Plan (8MP).
According to a front-page report in Tamil daily Makkal Osai today, Samy Vellu said Mahathir had promised ‘this and that but in the end told the community nehi (’no’ in Hindi)’.
However, the Works Minister said he was confident that Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi would keep his word and deliver the promises made to the community under the Ninth Malaysia Plan (9MP).
Samy Vellu - who was always considered a close ally of Mahathir during his 22-year rule - said this in his speech at an MIC gathering in Johor yesterday.
Yeah right, as if he has contributed a lot to Indian communities?

LOL! This comes from a president of a indian party which won’t even stand up for the indians or hindus when the hundred year old hindu temples are demolished!

my, my, i thought nazri was the bad news maker, now they even got sami to do this, and sami volunteered ! if the old man retaliate, sami might as well migrate to sri lanka and ask for the tamil tigers protection.

i am an indian…and i think im in a position to say that samy never initiated anything to help the indian that deseved the then PM’s support…
And anyway, why didnt he say anything at that time? Coz he knew he’d be kicked out of the cabinet…what a power crazy SPINELESS CREATURE.
Im no supporter or Dr M..but the truth is he’s only letting this out now coz Dr M is no more in power…and because the upcming elections of course..
Do you think we indian people are fools?well…most of us are,but a lot of us know his dirty tricks..
No point talking now samy…what did you do when sothi got suspended?NOTHING!
