On Thursday night, a policeman is in critical condition in hospital with a head injury after he "accidentally" shot himself while on anti-crime patrol in Taman Pelangi, Bukit Mertajam.
Penang state Police Chief Christopher Wan Soo Kee declined to comment on the cause of accident and no mainstream media besides Bernama who repoted on this.
Yesterday, chinese daily Kwong Wah alleged the accident happened when the policeman on-duty was having fun with Russian Roulette, a stunt in which you spin the cylinder of a revolver that is loaded with only one bullet and then point the muzzle at your head and pull the trigger. While negligence-on-duty is one issue, another question is: Who the hell in this world is "mentally challenged" enough to gamble own life by playing such a risky game?
I am simply perplexed.

I guess the low salary of a police officer is indeed very mentally challenged
