Sydney unrest: Racial violence

Last month, there were riots in France, where racism and unemployment were alleged to be the cause, to an extent where curfew laws were put in used.

Last Sunday night, racial violence erupted at Sydney’s Cronulla Beach when some 5,000 people, some yelling racist chants, attacked youths of Middle Eastern backgrounds.
