AirAsia: 2,000,000 free seats and the impact

Thanks to the early Christmas greeting from AirAsia, now everyone can really fly.

Probably due to overwhelming response by almost everyone who love FREE things and not to crash the going-to-be-crashed server, AirAsia being "forced in a way" to switch from the 2mil free seats logo to the old ads to reduce desperate booking.

Also due to the serious internet congestion, I tried real hard before successfully got myself 2 FOC tickets. Same to its Call Centers (reservation/booking enquiries) too, average waiting time is around 5 mins.

Now you may ask, is this the way that AirAsia welcomes Idris Jala on board?

Also, who has the last laugh? You bet.

"We don’t want to go to Singapore right now. There are plenty of better places to go to. It’s got first to be completely transparent and it’s got to be open competition on all fronts."

Afterall, I guess it’s ok to piss off the duo.
