Prepaid registration

Starting from Oct 1, its compulsory for new prepaid users to register their identification when they buy a new prepaid pack in Penang and Melaka.

However, registration for existing users is not a must until January 2006.

I’ll subscribe to a few prepaid numbers of each operators, for collection purpose.

U have a fetish for seeing your data registered in all telco’s databases? Think about putting in pseudonyms as well and see how the telcos validate. I believe it would be tough to screen through all registered details.

Fetish of seeing your name in all telco’s databases? Try using a pseudonym and see how the telcos validate that. I believe there will be problems validating user information when this starts.

So as of the future, our personal details including addresses will not only just be harness by financial instituitions via credit cards, insurance policies and bonus points memberships, which is the "in" thing today.

I predict that our snail junk mail volume will increase at leat thrice after this.

Hmm…prepaid SIM card registration database for sale, anyone? Tadak tengki har? Kasi under-table RM 5 kau tim lar!
