Starting from next month, AirAsia will fly daily to Phnom Penh, Cambodia and Chiang Mai, Thailand from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
"AirAsia would be the first and only airline to offer direct flights between Kuala Lumpur and Chiang Mai," said AirAsia CEO Tony Fernandes who is now a Datuk.

It is really exciting when coming to consider that it is so cheap to visit neighbouring countries. AirAsia has created a paradigm shift in ppl where now we will think of flying (rather than taking bus) to other states and neighbouring countries. This is good! Really, now everyone can fly!
Ready companies, can AirAsia new fleet of Airbuses able to fly all the way to Darwin and Madras? Even if possible, they will have a big issue with MAS!!!
