[UPDATED VERSION] A day after announcing the group major expansion in Australia’s motor industry, Sime Darby is planning to buy 32% of Proton in a deal worth up to RM 1.58b, each share for RM8.50 to RM9.00.
It was also reported that Sime may eventually buy all of Khazanah’s proton stake at 42.7%.
