By all means, please do so

Thursday, September 1st, 2005 | 1:04 am @ SK

Yesterday, Information Minister Abdul Kadir Sheikh Fadzir sounded his intention to retire as the chairman of Merdeka Month Celebration National Committee. Quote:

"I want to retire as chairman of the Merdeka Month Celebration National Committee. Six years is enough for me as chairman of the committee," he said.

"New thinking and efforts are necessary to take the organisation of the Merdeka Month celebrations to a higher level," he said.

Pak Kadir, I agree with you wholeheartedly and appreciate your years of contribution.

By all means, please do so. Happy retirement!

I think a lot have wanted her to go, but the fact is that, I don’t think that she will be axed in this coming cabinet reshuffle.

I’ll blog about this when the time comes. :-)

Dear SK, our Mr. Bowtie is not a she.

Shake Fuzzier could have done much more to stimulate the rakyat’s passion in celebrating NDay.

For example, invite his little brother, Datuk Abdul Aziz Shake Fuzzier to step onto the wall of Chinese Assembly Hall again, this time with the kris borrowed from Datuk Hisham, and urge all Malaysians to fly our flag and stop their car when clock hits 12 to get down and sing Negaraku, Keranamu Malaysia, Jalur Gemilang, Kau Boleh, Berjaya, Bersatu, Barisan Kita and Cinta IT.

Shake Fuzzier’s elder brother, Senator Musa has also done his part by calling for Chief Ministership’s rotation in Penang. Why not share it, if all are patriotic ? It’s not as if PKMB Baru wanna take it away from PGRM for good. Saja setahun dua apa…

I guess Shake Fuzzier has contributed a lot in making NDPs a great success year after year. Just imagine hordes of patriotic Malaysians (and foreign tourists) could pay ERLSB their hard earn cash to flood a cowboy town in the middle of nowhere under the hot sun and polluted atmosphere just to get a glimpse of what we can watch on TV for free and you will know.
