Monday, March 7th, 2005 | 11:20 am @ SK
As I blog this at 11:21AM, USM website had been hacked yesterday, by someone who so-called himself “Indonesian Reformer”.
For the remaining contents, it’s even more hurt to be read.
Meanwhile, it’s so coincidental that as reported on The Star that government had sent an official protest note to Indonesia on the trespassing of the republic’s navy ship into Malaysia territorial waters, according to Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar.

Did you know that 95% of all government related websites in Malaysia are open to SQL injection attacks?
Also, did you know that by picking such a target, the hackers have just left enough ideas and thoughts around on their skills and mentality?
On the other hand, I seriously hope this won’t cause a cyber warfare in the underworld like the US-China or Taiwan-China cyberwar that happened a few times back then… We will definitely lose more than just our country’s reputation but also our IT sector’s credibility and development…

A public university website was hacked, what a shame to us. However, not entirely if it creates awareness - we still have a long way to go…
“Did you know that 95% of all government related websites in Malaysia are open to SQL injection attacks?”They are just nice targets…
